Road Trip to Virginia
We're really excited! We registered for the AGLCA Spring RendezVous. It will be held in Norfolk, Virginia this year. During the four days there, we are planning on attending seminars to learn all we can from those that have already completed the "Loop" and those that are currently doing it. If we're lucky, we might even meet up with some of the boaters we met during the RendezVous again when we start our own in July. We're also hoping to meet other Canadians who are planning or doing the Loop to get their perspective on health insurance (provincial coverage), the possible tax implications of spending time in the States and boating licenses. It'll be a great opportunity to network with other adventurous boaters! Our calendars are marked!!Spring is finally here!

Projects
One of our projects is to build a co-pilot seat (for me) in the cockpit, with integrated storage for the cooler, ice-maker and BBQ. Another project is to build storage for our cloths. As we are thinking of our designs we need to keep a few things in mind such as the added weight and mobility (it cannot be permanently installed as we need to be able to access the panel under neat it). We knew boat projects were more complex than house projects, and we're re-adjusting our expectations and designs as we move forward.

Figuring out what is needed |
With the nicer weather coming, boat projects and a road trip planned - April is going to finish on a high note, we're looking forward to having more to share as we get closer to our "start date".
